Times, days and frequency we'd like you to be available: Weekly, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays

Purpose of role

We are looking for a volunteer livestock looker to assist in regular livestock checks on land managed by the Trust in the Central Hampshire area.

Tasks involved in this role

  • To assist in the regular livestock checks on land managed by the Trust in the Central Hampshire area  

  • To initiate contact with a member of staff if there are signs of illness or injury or concern. This will include regular visual checks of livestock (training provided) plus checking of water, fence lines etc. 

Skills and abilities needed

  • Physically fit with good vision.

  • Reliable.

  • Own transport useful but not essential.

Specific considerations 

  • Must be willing to work around cattle, sheep or ponies.

  • Must be able to negotiate uneven terrain.
