About the event
Wild New Forest is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in the New Forest National Park. Marcus undertakes specialist wildlife consultancy in and around the New Forest and coordinates long term research projects for several species of high conservation concern, including Curlew and Hawfinch. Marcus also uses trail cameras to study resident mammals including the enigmatic Pine Marten, Otter, and Red Deer.
Marcus will introduce us to some of the rare birds and animals that are resident in the forest with some amazing footage and photographs to illustrate his work to protect these species.
