About the event

Join Ian Creasey and Emma Weston, Marine Champion Volunteers for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, to learn about an innovative, collaborative marine project in the Solent.

The Solent Seascape Project is a first of its kind project for the UK, tackling restoration at a seascape scale level. It focuses on four incredible habitats: seagrass, saltmarsh, native oyster and coastal bird habitats. During the talk you can find out what they are and why they are special, what lives in them, the threats they face, what our project is doing to restore and conserve them and how you can support the project.
