Portsmouth and Southsea Wildlife Watch – Lizard Arts and Crafts, Seed Sowing and Minibeast Hunt
Event details
About the event
We will be doing some spring gardening at the Community Allotment space and sowing some seeds to get ready for the growing season. We will go hunting for minibeasts and learn about our native lizards. If we're lucky the resident lizard in the polytunnel will make an appearance! We will also be making our own arts and crafts lizard for you to take home.
Please bring wellies and make sure to wear something warm!
If it's raining, that's no problem as we can take shelter in the polytunnel. Let's get growing!!
New families welcome.
This is a wildlife watch event for children aged 5-15 years only with accompanied adult, as there are limited spaces we ask for only one adult booking for each child attendee.
Toilets at the Thatched House pub (at the end of Locksway Road).
The facilities are kindly provided by Portsmouth City Council’s Independence and Wellbeing service.
