About the event

With its favourable climate and variety of habitats, Hampshire is one of the best counties to see dragonflies and has the highest diversity of dragonflies and damselflies in the whole of the UK. Dr Alison Barker, who regularly surveys these beautiful insects at Swanwick Lakes Nature reserve, will give us an introduction to this insect group and show us some of the best places to find them and what to look for. Join us to see her stunning photographs and to learn more about these wonderful creatures.
