About the event
During this course, we will be looking at tree identification, how to survey a hedgerow and what makes a good hedgerow?
Come along to this session to learn how to identify the trees and shrubs found within a hedgerow, to learn how to assess the condition of the hedgerow and to find out how you might improve the hedgerow for wildlife. We'll use the Great British Hedgerow Survey guidelines and we'll look at a number of different hedgerows for comparison.
Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear is required as the route may be up to 3 miles over possible uneven terrain.
