We need you

We are really excited to announce that we have a charity place available to run the 2021 Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October 2021. 

Our vision for a wilder future is beautiful and vital: we want great places to live that are good for people and wildlife. We want nature to be normal, for children to grow up with wild green spaces to explore. We want a deafening din, a cacophony of chirping, churring and buzzing. Find out more about our plan for nature’s recovery. 

Help make this happen and support Hampshire & Isle of Wildlife Trust today by running for a wilder future. With just one place to offer, we want someone who is fully committed to raising as much as money as possible as well as taking on this monumental challenge to spread the word about the Trust to ensure we get more people on nature's side. 

Run for us

We have a guaranteed spot in the Virgin Money London Marathon for one lucky person! If you are interested in running for a wilder future please email corporates@hiwwt.org.uk to register your interest. Please include your full name and short paragraph explaining why you would like to run for the Trust and how you will raise the minimum £1,900 (excluding gift aid) sponsorship pledge. 

Please note this does not guarantee you a charity place in the event and T&C’s apply.

The successful runner will receive a fundraising pack alongside some other benefits to ensure you are all set for the big day! We will also be on hand with plenty of fundraising and training support to get you there.

Already got a place?

If you have been lucky enough to secure your own place in the Virgin Money London Marathon through the ballot we'd love you to help us create a wilder future and fundraise for Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

There is no minimum fundraising target or registration fee, we just ask that you raise what you can.

We will support you though sending you one of our fundraising packs. Please email corporates@hiwwt.org.uk to register your interest in running for Team Wilder through your own place in the Virgin Money London Marathon.
