A green oasis in the heart of Portsmouth
Local community comes together to plant 756 trees and create a 63-meter-long fruiting hedge at Trust's Milton Locks Nature Reserve.
The common cockle is a traditional seaside favourite, both for its white shells often found in the sand and for the yummy snack of cockles doused in malt vinegar.
In May 2023, Reserves Officer Jack Medley took on the monumental challenge of cycling across France from St Malo to Nice, totalling over 1000 miles.
Found on rocky shores around the UK, Chitons are a kind of mollusc identifiable by their characteristic coat-of-mail shells.
