Alison said: “I’m over the moon to have been nominated for this award and to have got to the final three is something I would never have imagined. It is an exciting time to be working with farmers: there is rapidly growing awareness of the importance of nature both in its own right and crucially for healthy, functioning farming systems.”

Over the past year Alison has offered her expertise on the management of more than 16,000 hectares (39,536 acres) of land across Hampshire. By empowering individuals to support nature’s recovery beyond the borders of our nature reserves, Alison is paving the way towards a wilder future for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
