About the event
Wrap up warmly, bring a hot drink and a snack and join John Clark for a mid winter walk around New Alresford in the picturesque Arle valley. We should see a good variety of birds making the area their home this winter, as we walk by the watercress beds, through open fields, past a vineyard and back along the banks of the river Arle, a beautiful chalk stream. We will have a short stop to eat your snack along the route. We will be walking on minor lanes and public paths which are liable to be muddy in places so do wear stout footwear and dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day. Binoculars will be useful if you have them.
