Livestock Looker (Magdalen Hill Down)

Times, days and frequency we’d like you to be available: Fridays (starting after 20th December 2024) 

Purpose of role

• To assist in the regular livestock checks on land grazed by the Trust in the Central Hampshire area 

• To initiate contact with a member of staff if signs of illness or injury or concern 

Tasks involved in this role 

• This will include regular visual checks of livestock (training provided) plus checking of water, fence lines etc 

Skills and abilities needed

• Physically fit with good vision 

• Reliable 

• Own transport useful but not essential 

Specific considerations 

• Must be willing to work round cows and sheep 

• Must be able to negotiate uneven terrain
