About the event

Winter is the time to see all the migratory wildfowl and wading birds that visit our shorelines and estuaries. Yarmouth is one of the best places to these visitors: on our previous walks along the Yar estuary we have observed more than 20 species, with notable highlights being spoonbills, curlews and marsh harriers. On the walk we also hope to see herons, egrets, kingfishers, gulls, grebes, and flocks of finches and winter thrushes. Once again we are fortunate to have Dave Fairlamb of Natural Links leading this walk for us.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for winter weather, bincoculars are recommended.
