About the event
Join John Clark on a leisurely guided walk mostly on public footpaths around the village of Longparish. We will walk through fields alongside the hedgerows where spring flowers are coming into bloom, before walking across the water meadows of the beautiful iconic river Test. The route takes us across East Aston Common where we can pause on the long footbridge to enjoy the river and look out for birds on the open water and river bank. We may catch a glimpse of a kingfisher. On the way back we will see a restored 19th century corn mill. The walk is approximately four miles and stout footwear is advisable as the paths are likely to be muddy in places after wet weather.
